Artist Spotlight Of The Week

Sharp Diesel was born, Darrel Williams, as the only child to his mother Teer. He was raised in a single parent household all his life until his step-father, James, took his mother by hand in marriage. Through out elementary and middle school Sharp Diesel used to always rap lyrics to his best childhood friend, Austin. Austin used to always tell Sharp Diesel, "yo man, you gona be big one day dog..." and Sharp Diesel use to always reply back.."If I make it yo..you make it yo...", But it wasn't until Sharp Diesel moved from Camden's Parkside neighborhood to South Camden area, Fairview, where he met his childhood friends Myron (Ice), Laheem (Hollywood), John (J Breezy), Chris (Bundles), Big Tom (Tom), and Junior (J-Dot) forming the well know Camden rap group, Block Burnas (present day: known as Brawlla Block). After high school Sharp decided to attend Central State University in Ohio where he met his music partner, business partner, super producer, and life long friend Max (CEO of Shy Ent.). Max met Sharp while he was freestyling at a fraternity plot on campus. It was only about 2 hours until the two were recording their first tracks, Shy Ent. was emerged. Max always use to tell Sharp like.." Ay man..you not like other artists man..it's something different about you, you can flow, write quick, record quick, and you creative, sshh.. idk bruh..but we gona make it one day...we be on the same s**t.." It wasn't long after until Sharp met his other life long friends and business partners Clarence, Terry, and Dex. While in college Sharp Diesel has been interviewed by hosts of "The Edge" (Entertainment News TV Show Local area), done a number of photo shoots, performances, music videos, interviews, competitions, etc. Sharp Diesel recently won the Hip Hop Master October for www.ichooz.tv where he was critiqued and judged by Grammy Award wining producers Tim Kelly and Bob Robinson. Sharp Diesel is currently persuing his career in Hip Hop and music entertainment. Sharp Diesel also plans on beginning his webisode show "The Sharpest Booth" which will premiere 2010!!!
